I have always been surrounded by books. My childhood bedroom back in Minnesota is currently home to hundreds of books, organized in towers almost as tall as my bed. Both of my parents were librarians, and my dad decided to allow his passion for books into our home, where he began to collect and sell rare books online.
I am now living in Portland, Oregon and this passion for reading has followed me here. I feel most comfortable surrounded by books, and really enjoy nothing more than snuggling up on my couch with my cat Sophie and a new book. I frequent Powell’s Books but also utilize the library as well. My partner, Jack, also is an avid reader but gravitates towards different genres so it is fun to swap books with him to try out something new.
This blog is a space for me to record what books I have read and how they made me feel. I hope you enjoy.
